Symptom / Indication: Blindness, chill and convulsion. Deafness, dysponea, ears, noises in hemicrania. Hydrophobia, Liver enlargment, feverish state, sinusitis.
Description: A crystalline alkoid occuring in Aconitum Napellus and aconites. It crystalizes as colourless, hexagonal plates. The melting point is 204oC and aqueous solution are alkaline to litmus. It is very slightly soluble in water, slightly soluble in ether and soluble in alcohol, chloroform and benzene. Aconite is obtained from the roots and stems of Acon. Nap. It is highly toxic in crude form and in homeopathic it one of the safest medicine on earth.

Preparation: a) Mother Solution 3x Drug Strength 1/1000
Aconitum
Strong Alcohol is sufficient quantity
To make one litre of Mother Tincture.
b) Potencies: 4x and higher with dispensing alcohol.
c) Trituration 1x Drug Strength 1/10
Aconitum 10 g
Saccharum Lactis 90 g
To make one hundred gramme of the trituration
d) Potencies : and higher with Dispensing Alcohol.
Prescribe dose: 3x and higher
Caution: Toxic to be administerd under the supervision of a physician.
Do not prescribe below 6x.
